Living the Good Life on Koh Samui Island, Thailand

For the millions who experience the seasonal winds, snow, freezing temperatures and long nights shivering, the long summer days that follow give fond memories of warm weather, outdoor living, picnics and travel to far away places.

Think of what it would be like to experience these nicer things all the time on Koh Samui. Where its residence experience this living dream almost every day of the year. Their is no specific summertime on the Island, although their are hotter periods during the year. Thinking of the best months, some prefer the cooler December / January periods through to the end of March. March especially is hot and dry, and a fantastic time to be on the Island. Although it is true to say that many of the months are fabulous, and typically warm and sunny.

In other countries, the summer months are typically a period to feel well, in good health. Life is good and it is perfectly acceptable. Now the same can be said in Koh Samui only year round. Some people claim that the sun has considerable health benefits, as well as making people happier.

So it is not surprising that living on Koh Samui makes people happier and with more productive lives, away from the cold and inclement weather in most parts of Europe. Most people are optimistic here are enjoy life, their are of course ups and downs, but generally people are much more optimistic about life and all that it brings. Indeed the environment on Koh Samui has so much to offer.

On a business perspective no wonder real estate, tourism and other associated activities are all at the for front of the local economic community.

Their are still beaches without hotels, bars or homes near them, so this is fine for those seeking piece. Their are places like Lamai and Chaweng that appeal to the masses, with shops, restaurants and bars. Altogether their is a variety of places of interest, and many things to do. Shopping can be from local handywares through to supermarket shoping with the Tesco Lotus brand being evident in 3 places on the Island. Scattered restaurants and bars catter for all the tastes one could imagine. Coffee shops from the most simple to Starbucks. All is available here.

When going out their are a whole range of activities. A trip to Big Buddha, a beach club such as the branded Nikki Beach, another favorite is Beach Republic for a Sunday brunch. Another favourite is a trip down the street to Grandmother and Grandfather rock. Fish restaurants eating surrounded by local Samuians, another favorite.

Samui is here to be experienced and enjoyed and has universal appeal.
